My favorite color is blue. My favorite food is pizza. I like to watch videos of laughing babies on Youtube. I love dogs, but loathe cats. I like to sing and be outside. I used to work at a summer camp and lead bike trips. My 3 best friends are red heads. But now for the stuff that means something.
I'm Rita. I am married to a really wacky guy named Nick since August 2009. (We've been married that long, he's been weird way longer.)
We have a baby girl dubbed Little C for the blog world. She's 8 months old and is my first
job love. I like being a mom, and I can't wait to have more babies! But right now, this one sweet girl is enough.
My second job is running a pizza place in a college town called Pizza Rita. It is an interesting job. I grew up making pizzas because my dad started the business when I was 2 in Spokane. Yes, he named it after me. No, I don't think my brothers and sisters are jealous. Pizza Maggie (or Jeff, Abby, Sam, or Paul--yep 5) just doesn't sound as good. So I opened one with my husband in July of 2009.
I am really close with my family. Especially my parents and closest sister, Maggie. We talk on the phone almost every day.
My third job is making things! I love to cook, bake, crochet, knit, sew, and quilt. Okay, I don't really love knitting, but that's because I'm not really that good at it. But all the others. And I love doing those things for people who appreciate them. I use an old Kenmore machine that my grandma gave me before she passed away. And most of what I know how to do comes from my Mom, or trial and error.
